After having a bit of an ear-bashing about licensing, I'm sure this
is just what you want to hear...

Indenting your code in a non-crack smoking fashion would probably help
others understand and help you with your code... as admittedly, I'm having
a bit of a hard time following it, and /usr/bin/indent had a bit of a field
day with it too.
