Well, you did all ask to see the source!
I never claimed to be able to code!
I don't know my pointers from my structures, subscripts, passing data to
functions, it's all a mystery to me. This is why I need help! My
algorithm design skills exceed my implementation skills!
Now the code is GPL, you can make it look all pretty and send it back to
me!
This all being said, the code does work!

After having a bit of an ear-bashing about licensing, I'm sure this is
just what you want to hear...
Indenting your code in a non-crack smoking fashion would probably help
others understand and help you with your code... as admittedly, I'm
having a bit of a hard time following it, and /usr/bin/indent had a bit
of a field day with it too.
