Hi all,
Anyone on have any comments on this PCMCIA card?

Maplin have them for ?13 and it looks ripe for hacking. Appears to be
acx100 based and looks like pig tail should be easy to apply - see

Hi all,
Quick update on these cards. Functionality is OK in Linux - I had to rebuild my kernel without SMP and build the module, but after that it works.

Can also use it with Kismet (source=orinoco), but kept getting 'Setting monitor to: 0x01' messages on screen.

The picture on the site I mentioned before seemed to show an antenna connector but there is no external access, I'll think I'll wait a bit before disassembling - I don't yet have an exteral ariel (Anyone organising a 'build your own' session???)
